This class is intended for wine students with a good base knowledge and enthusiasts looking to learn more.

Dive into the historic vineyards of Bordeaux’s Graves region with this advanced class, focusing on the esteemed Grand Cru Classé wines of Pessac-Léognan, Barsac, and Sauternes. We’ll explore the unique terroir that shapes these structured reds, age-worthy whites, and famous dessert wines - tracing their evolution from the 1855 classification to the 1959 Graves Cru Classé designation.

Through guided tastings, students will analyze vintage variation, winemaking techniques, and the stylistic differences between producers. Perfect for wine professionals and enthusiasts seeking a deeper understanding of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates south of the Garonne.
