To acquire this certification, a minimum of 84 hours* of study time is required, which includes:

  • 30 hours of instruction time with a WSET course provider, either in a classroom or online.

  • 54 hours of self-study and review.

Assessment: A 2.5 hour closed-book examination comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions, short written answer paper, and a blind tasting of 2 wines on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the Oenophile Institute.
