WSET Level 2 Award in Wines | 3 Day Intensive

  • Sunday, September 1st 10:00am - 5:00pm

  • Monday, September 2nd 10:00am - 5:00pm

If you're seeking a deeper understanding of the world's wine styles and regions, WSET Level 2 offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge.

This course is designed to help you attain the following skills by the end of WSET Level 2:

  • Recognize the primary grape varieties cultivated globally and the different styles produced from them, including sparkling and fortified wine.

  • Interpret label information to comprehend a wine's quality and style.

  • Understand general wine cultivation and winemaking techniques.

  • Refine your tasting skills using WSET's Level 2 Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting (SAT).

To acquire this certification, a minimum of 29 hours of study time is required, which includes:

  • 17 hours of instruction time with a WSET course provider, either in a classroom or online.

  • 12 hours of self-study and review.

Assessment: A 1 hour closed-book examination comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions will be given on the final course day Monday, September 2nd at approximately 3:30pm

Please note a one hour midday break will be given each day but lunch will not be supplied.

Course materials may be picked up 1 week after registration at The Vineyard Wine Market during business hours or mailed to you for a small additional fee.
